Method

How to Make Classic Grilled Cheeseburgers
  1. Gently mix cold ground beef with minced garlic, onion, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until just combined.
  2. Divide the meat mixture into six equal portions and flatten them into ¾-inch thick patties, about 4 inches wide.
  3. Create a slight dimple in the center of each patty with your thumb to prevent them from puffing up during cooking.
  4. Heat your grill to medium-high heat, around 400-450°F, for a perfect searing temperature.
  5. Place the patties on the hot grill and cook for 4-5 minutes until a beautiful brown crust forms on the bottom.
  6. Flip the patties once and continue grilling until they reach your desired doneness.
  7. During the final minute of cooking, place 1-2 slices of cheddar cheese on each burger to get perfectly melty.
  8. Place the cheesy patties on your chosen hamburger buns and add your favorite toppings.
